How to play Pyramid
- 1Every day brings one category and six footballers in no particular order.
- 2Place all six from most to least: the one who scored most in that category goes on top, the one who scored least at the base.
- 3While you place them you can undo the last step or restart the pyramid. Nothing corrects you mid game.
- 4Once it is full, the ones in the right place turn green and the rest turn red, and you go again knowing that much.
FAQ
- Does it tell me when I get one wrong?
- Not until the end. You place all six and only then are the right ones marked, so you always get to build the whole pyramid.
- Can I change a placement?
- Yes, as long as you have not finished. Undo the last step as often as you like, or restart the pyramid and begin again.
- Is the correct order revealed at the end?
- Never. You are only told which ones sit in the right place. The figures appear only if all six are right, once you have solved it yourself.
- How many tries do I get?
- As many as you like. The same pyramid can be attempted again whenever you want, with everything the last attempt told you.
- Can the same category come up two days running?
- No. Categories rotate, so every day brings a different one and all of them come up once before any repeats.
- What if I want to play more?
- Random mode raises a fresh pyramid, with another category and another six legends, as many times as you like.
- Can two footballers be tied?
- No. Only categories where all six have different numbers are dealt, so there is always a single correct order.
- Why does the CAREER category never come up?
- Because ranking by total goals is exactly what most people would do from memory. Challenges are picked so the category order does not match the career one.
- Where do the goals come from?
- Public sources, mostly Wikipedia career tables. They are the same numbers Golada uses.
- What shows when I share my result?
- Your order exactly as you built it, and how many steps landed. Which ones is never marked, so the pyramid is not solved, but your order is out there.
